226 Club is our toast to those willing to take a chance in the pursuit of an unforgettable night.
In 1920, the US federal government’s prohibition of alcohol began, effectively closing every bar in America. Of course, the alcohol ban didn’t keep Americans from drinking. It simply moved the party underground. Speakeasies popped up throughout the States. When it came to scofflaws, there was no place quite like Chicago. And when it came to the Chicago scene, rumor had it that there was no place as lively as The 226 Club.
This olfactive concoction opens with sparkling notes of fresh Lemon and Orange Bitters. Tonic notes mingle with the scent of Star Anise and Geranium giving the mix a touch of sweetness, while Black Pepper lends a splash of effervescence. Warm Cedarwood, Vetiver, and Cashmere Woods create a contrasting warmth, calling to mind the feel of a lively crowd, ready for the time of their lives.
