POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our clients, assisting with product selection, and contributing to the overall success of our boutique. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in fashion, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a personalized and memorable shopping experience.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing product recommendations and styling advice based on their preferences and needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of our product offerings, including fabrics, fits, and brand stories, to effectively communicate the value and features of each item to customers.
- Assist with merchandising and visual presentation standards to ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and inviting environment that reflects our brand aesthetic.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system (Lightspeed), including cash, credit card, and mobile payments, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about current style trends, designer collections, and industry news to enhance product knowledge and provide relevant insights to customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through personalized follow-up, including thank-you notes and updates on new arrivals or promotions, to foster repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the boutique, including assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required. We welcome candidates with a strong customer service background and a genuine interest in fashion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and build rapport in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Passion for fashion and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
